Jack Savitsky (1910–1991) folk art painting depicting two miners walking through a stylized Pennsylvania coal-region landscape with houses and industrial buildings in the distance. Savitsky worked in the anthracite coal mines of Pennsylvania for more than forty years before devoting himself to painting, becoming known for colorful scenes of mining life and his surrounding community. Signed lower left. Framed.
