Mixed-media sculpture by Willie Tarver (1932–2010), constructed from found metal and other materials in the form of a fanciful figure positioned within a crown-like circular structure. Applied colorful glass jewels, painted accents and deliberately irregular fabrication give the work the exuberant, improvisational character associated with Tarver’s work.
