Woodie Long (1942–2009) was a self-taught Southern artist born in Plant City, Florida, who spent approximately 25 years working as a house painter before beginning his celebrated memory paintings. This work depicts a group of musicians, including a harp player and violinist, rendered in vivid pink, yellow, orange, red and green. Signed “Woodie” at lower right. Presented in a rustic wood frame.
