Joe Light (1934–2005) was an American self-taught artist born in Dyersburg, Tennessee, whose distinctive work frequently explored spiritual and moral themes through strongly ordered graphic compositions. This folk art painting features two stylized birds perched upon geometric forms beneath a row of abstract shapes. Executed in strong blue, yellow, green, black, white and deep brown.
