Jack Beverland (1939–2023), also known as “Mr. B,” folk art painting titled or inscribed “The American Workers Dream,” presenting a satirical narrative concerning corporate employment and the American worker. Beverland was a self-taught Florida outsider artist who began painting intensively after losing his longtime corporate career in the early 1990s.
