Emma Schrock (American, 1924–1991) folk art painting depicting a wintertime schoolyard scene with children sledding and playing in the snow before a red schoolhouse. Signed “Emma Schrock” lower right and dated 1981. Schrock was an Amish folk artist from Indiana known for detailed scenes of rural and community life.
