Folk art painting by Clyde Jones featuring a large red animal form against a dark blue ground. Heavy, tactile applications of paint and scattered white accents give the surface a strongly dimensional quality. The simplified animal imagery and vigorous handling of materials are characteristic of Jones's expressive self-taught approach.
