Souvenir fragment of the Berlin Wall mounted as a bookend/display piece on a wood-grain finished base. The irregular concrete fragment retains areas of colorful painted graffiti in green, yellow and red. Applied plaque reads “BERLIN WALL / CHECKPOINT CHARLIE / 1990.” An evocative Cold War-era commemorative piece associated with the opening and dismantling of the Berlin Wall.
